Deletion of a page because it was NOT IN ENGLISH, and has no relevant reason to not be in English, such as organization made mainly of Mexicans or a Language icon indicating you speak Spanish - in this case, that did not apply. It seems the deletion box, however, did not make my reason of NOT IN ENGLISH show up. So I don't know whether or not this "decline" was done with the knowledge of my reason or without it.
Also, if you "declined" all by yourself, I assume you are an administrator.
Yes, I am an administrator and yes the reason of "not in English" did show up in the deletion box. But such a reason is not a valid speedy deletion criteria for user pages, hence it was declined. —[DeadEyeArrow – Talk – Contribs] 23:33, 11 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi DEA - On 31 March, you issued a gentle warning (more in the nature of a friendly reminder) to anonymous user 72.241.101.20. However, I note that 72.241.101.20 has now deleted your comments from his/her user/discussion page, and also deleted comments he didn't like from Zagalejo (who apparently later restored his comments, overriding 72.241.101.20's deletion). Just thought you should know that your comments have been deleted by the anonymous user. It's a bit silly, really, because the history is there, plain for all to see, and nobody is attacking 72.241.101.20 - in fact, he/she has made some good edits in the recent past, but occasionally gone a bit too far with several edits or deletions. It appears that he/she is a new contributor, so I don't believe there is any ill-will involved - just some need for him/her to have a better understanding of Wikipedia's processes. I probably should've deleted it rather than just reverting it but it looks like it's been oversighted now. Currently, there is a dispute going on at WP:PW over the format of one of the matches at a pay-per-view event. This has been getting a little bit out of hand, which led to the article being fully protected. What I'm asking of you is to do to WT:PW#WrestleMania XXIV - Fully-Protected, read over the thread and put in your input. I know you are a reliable administrator, and if you, as an outside reader, can solve this issue it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time! iMatthew200800:42, 18 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Myself and several other editors have been compiling a list of very active editors who would likely be available to help new editors in the event they have questions or concerns. As the list grew and the table became more detailed, it was determined that the best way to complete the table was to ask each potential candidate to fill in their own information, if they so desire. This list is sorted geographically in order to provide a better estimate as to whether the listed editor is likely to be active.
If you consider yourself a very active Wikipedian who is willing to help newcomers, please either complete your information in the table or add your entry. If you do not want to be on the list, either remove your name or just disregard this message and your entry will be removed within 48 hours. The table can be found at User:Useight/Highly Active, as it has yet to have been moved into the Wikipedia namespace. Thank you for your help. Useight (talk) 02:57, 3 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have just started to add images to Wiki and made an attempt with an image gallery on the Mars page as well as the Phoenix Spacecraft page. As someone with much more experience then I have can you let me know if I did this correctly because I went on to check them this morning and they were gone:( I do think that the pictures have value, would it have been better if I added just one image of the avalanche on the right side of the page?
Also you mentioned that the image gallery is better suited to the Mars Geology subpage do you think this is something I should go ahead and add?
It seems that the salmon article is 'locked in' between Wikibooks and Wikipedia. Can we find a solution? The information itself is very useful for those who are both interested and active in the sector. The article explains the roots of the Chilean salmon sector; i.e. why does it exist and how did it develop.

please explain why the image Image:Gtscx.jpg from flickr is; "# Pure vandalism. This includes blatant and obvious misinformation, and redirects created by cleanup from page-move vandalism."
I apologize for the claim of vandalism, that wasn't your intent. But it is a shock image and immediately deletable. Previous discussions at Talk:Goatse.cx have leaned towards not including an image on the page. You're welcome to bring it up there again. Considering the nature of the image I feel you should have done so in the first place. --ÐeadΣyeДrrow (Talk - Contribs) 04:02, 31 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
considering you have admitted your reason for deletion was incorrect, I suggest you a) immediately restore the image, and then b) perhaps think of another reason for deletion and do so. -- Chzz ► 04:05, 31 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
It was already done before you replied. If a discussion goes in the way of inclusion, I'd restore it, or rather one with the proper copyright info. Otherwise, you know where to take the issue. --ÐeadΣyeДrrow (Talk - Contribs) 04:19, 31 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

YW, I apologize though for not giving inquiry before nominating. It was rather late when I did the FAC and skipped a step. Nonetheless, I do feel it could be featured and in the end the scrutiny can only lead to improvement. --ÐeadΣyeДrrow (Talk - Contribs) 18:16, 4 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
It was nice for a while, but now it's looking pretty grim. Redoing all the references would take hours and hours and nobody reading the article would even notice the difference. And they just keep piling on. I have never seen any article that follows all those citeria, featured or not. Maybe they object to everything -- and least some them don't want to feature anything Christian. They don't want us to reference the Bible? What can you say to that?Kauffner (talk) 21:25, 4 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
There have been questions about using the bible as a reference in the past. They are not objecting on any religious basis, it is just the very high expectations for articles that are to represent the best of the wiki. --ÐeadΣyeДrrow (Talk - Contribs) 02:09, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Despite how the FAC is going, I think the article itself is shaping up quite nicely. Thanks for all your hard work. I think the lead should be a bit longer and there should be a "Further reading" section for printed material. We also need to figure what to do all the citations Rbreen added. He put in about 20 books cites just to make a few small points. I'm not looking forward to reformating them, but he will not be a happy camper if we delete them. If the citation format is inconstant, that will certain come up in any future review. I've been looking at different feature articles lately to try to a good model follow. But IMO, we are already a step above most of the current feature articles. Kauffner (talk) 18:26, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

The link to muffin physics on the muffin page was real. Seriously, wasn't that one of the subtler funny things you had seen in quite a while? Why be such a killjoy? If this web site can't make fun of itself anywhere, it has serious problems. Almost as bad as the problems in any upcoming muffin physics research papers. If you think this encyclopedia is just for the more noble pursuits, then why have 500 word article on muffins that does little but define them and all their possibilities? How serious is that? It was deleted through an articles for deletion discussion which is pretty much the standard for deletions. Since you took part in the discussion I don't need to restate it's conclusion but the predominant view seems to be that there wasn't any verification for any of the claims in the article. The Quran is a reliable source, but it's also a primary source, which means any claims made with it need to be verified with other sources. —[DeadEyeArrow – Talk – Contribs] 20:00, 19 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Faculty of pharmacy-ain shams university

Dear DeadEyeArrow
I recreated Faculty of pharmacy-ain shams university using the data from the previous one and the web site, Ain Shams University is composed of a set of separated faculties In different places, I tried to merge this article but I found a page for Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine, so I continue with the used style.
I think the original Author was playing not writing, but I’ll try to enhance it more till someone from this faculty handles it.
The name of this is Faculty is "Ain Shams University Faculty of Pharmacy" so can you please rename it as the used rule in Egypt is University->Faculty->Collages then schools.

Please, if this is such an issue, then YOU please fix it so the move of Andrewa is undone to the correct, previous location of the article. I do not have time to follow your red tape beurocracy to correct my own article every single time it is butchered by some idiot. This is OBVIOUSLY misspelt. In English we hyphenate terms like 10-string, six-string, etc. The move is simply ignorant. The article was fine the way it was. PLUS, Andrewa introduces redundant information. A baroque guitar is a FIVE-COURSE guitar, not a '10-string guitar'. A "course" being a pair of strings that act as ONE. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.94.133.166 (talk) 07:39, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hey, i recently passed by the Barry Callebaut article and noticed that it read like a publicity brochure. Edit history shows that IP 217.193.137.163 reduced the article to the basic company blurb a while ago; looks like you fixed it once, but then they re-edited it again shortly after and removed a lot of the info that was there. The IP in question belongs to the company's HQ.
I spent some time trying to fix it up and give it a bit more structure, but I'm not sure how succesful I was in doing so. I'm not a native english speaker, and I'm not entirely NPOV on the topic myself since I work for a supplier of theirs. I was hoping you (as the last intelligent neutral editor to the article) could have another look.
I was searching to see if there is something new about my alma mater and discovered that there is no such page. When I wanted to start an article, it find that there had been a page but had been deleted some time ago. Why is that? It does tell us about Blatant Copyright infringement.....can't understand how some one can do that to a page about an engineering college.
Can I go ahead and start a new page? Or can you let me know what was so wrong about the page?
Thank you for supporting me in my RfA, which passed with a count of (166/43/7). Suspension of admin privileges due to inactivity
Latest comment: 8 July 20111 comment1 person in discussion
File:Information.svg
Following a community discussion in June 2011, consensus was reached to provisionally suspend the administrative privileges of users who have been inactive for one year, meaning administrators who have made neither any edits nor any logged actions in over one year. As a result of this discussion, your administrative privileges have been removed pending your return. If you wish to have these privileges reinstated, please post to the Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard and the userright will be restored per the re-sysopping process (i.e., as long as the attending bureaucrats are reasonably satisfied that your account has not been compromised and that your inactivity did not have the effect of evading scrutiny of any actions which might have led to sanctions). This removal of access is procedural only, and not intended to reflect negatively upon you in any way. We wish you the best in future endeavors, and thank you for your past administrative efforts. You have until December 30, 2012 to request restoration or else the policy will prevent you from doing so in the future; you would need to seek a new WP:RFA. Until December 30, you can file a request at WP:BN for review by the crats. Thank you. MBisanztalk04:22, 3 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I am looking through the articles which have been tagged for notability for 5 years, and came across this, which you nominated for speedy deletion. It was removed. If you still feel it should be deleted, you might want to consider taking it to prod or AfD. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 09:46, 22 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
