Live translation subtitling in Sweden?

Hi David. In the comment to your recent edit of Subtitle, you say that live translation subtitling is not uncommon in Sweden. Is that true? Aren't you confusing it with live Swedish-Swedish subtitling? If you're not, could you please give me a few examples, as I've never heard of it, although I've worked in the subtitling industry for 20 years. Best regards Thomas Blomberg 12:12, 13 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

I can't give you any examples, but I vaguely remember SVT doing it on a few important press conferences. I don't think it's done more than once or twice a year, tops. It is uncommon, but not quite as uncommon as the sentence I edited made it out to be.
