Cities inquiry

I moved your inquiry about Summer Games and hosts to the bottom of that section. New messages are usually added to the bottom. I also added a subsection headline with a subject for the message. Talk:Olympic_Games#Table_of_host_cities (SEWilco 08:59, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC))

My main concern is that Lothar de Maizière needs to link to Helmut Kohl so that readers who have been following the East German heads of government infobox can easily rejoin the Chancellor of Germany infobox at the Kohl article without having to search for that article. PMA 3 July 2005 05:09 (UTC)

Eurovision Song Contest

Thank you for your interest in the Eurovision article. Please pay attention to the text contained within the page source. It states:

Note: Do NOT add Azerbaijan or San Marino until they have actually participated in the Contest.
Even though they may be officially-confirmed participants, we can NOT say that they have actually "made their debut" until they have performed on the stage on the night of the Contest. This is a list of actual debut entries: not just "intentions to participate". It has happened before that a country has confirmed its intention to participate - and gone so far as to select a song(!) - but then withdrawn at the last moment. Wikipedia is not a crystal ball (read the rules), and we can not predict the future. These countries should only be added to the list after they have performed live on stage on the night of the Contest.

Please take note. Thank you. EuroSong talk 19:04, 10 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi, and welcome to the Hamburg task force of the WikiProject Germany! Thanks for joining.

A few features that you might find helpful:

  • There is an article alert, where several workflows (like AfD) are covered; and an announcements page, sorted by bot. You might like to watch these pages.
  • And starting in November 2009 we get hitcount data on popular pages.
  • While you are updating your userpage, don't forget our userbox Template:Tl.

You're free to participate however much—or little—you like. Please have a look at WikiProject Germany too, there is useful stuff about naming conventions of Germany-related articles, and more.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! :: Sebastian scha. (talk) 11:19, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Year column for "List of Christmas hit singles (UK)" article

Hello:

I noticed you moved the Year information in the table to its own column. The parentheses around the year data can probably be removed as well, now that the information occupies its own column. --Sliv812 (talk) 04:43, 9 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
