The Humungous Image Tagging Project

Hi. You've helped with the Wikipedia:WikiProject Wiki Syntax, so I thought it worth alerting you to the latest and greatest of Wikipedia fixing project, User:Yann/Untagged Images, which is seeking to put copyright tags on all of the untagged images. There are probably, oh, thirty thousand or so to do (he said, reaching into the air for a large figure). But hey: they're images ... you'll get to see lots of random pretty pictures. That must be better than looking for at at and the the, non? You know you'll love it. best wishes --Tagishsimon (talk)

Image copyright

Thank you for uploading Image:M1HelmetDiagram.gif and for stating the source. However, its copyright status is unclear, so it may have to be deleted. If it is open content or public domain, please give proof of this on the image page. If the image is fair use, please provide a rationale. Thank you.And also Image:M1linerkorea.jpg.--Aqua 08:54, Mar 27, 2005 (UTC)

Regarding this edit; please don't remove "citation needed" tags without providing a citation (or with good reason, preferably via the talk page). If this stuff really is accurate, it should be possible to find a good reference before building on it. Fourohfour 19:35, 16 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've just deleted your unreferenced edit to this page. Please tell me that wasn't vandalism. If it was, consider this a first warning. If not, please show references, as this is a delicate subject. PanydThe muffin is not subtle 16:12, 16 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

I should point out, you made two silly edits - the obvious one, and you uploaded a bad image. And this account has fixed loads of pages... eight years ago. And then it went idle. And then suddenly it reactivates, and its only actions are politically-themed vandalism. Do you understand why that seems like a compromised account? DS (talk) 14:08, 30 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
