Um hi.

Notability across languages

It's more like notability varies across audiences. The audience of the English Wikipedia is the computer-connected English-speaking world. A dean at the University of California at San Diego is probably notable, a dean at a state-level university in China who is virtually unknown outside China except in his field and who has very few works published in English may not be. Likewise, most English-language book authors who are barely notable enough to be in Wikipedia may not be notable in other-language Wikipedias unless they are of interest to those readerships. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 04:08, 24 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Blowfish. Because you participated in Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2009 October 2#Bullshido.net, you may be interested in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bullshido.net (4th nomination). Cunard (talk) 21:18, 22 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
