Wow, that's the first time I've ever been thanked for nominating a page for deletion! :-) I don't think the Shit-Storm page can be saved at the moment. (The fact that it used to include a paragraph admitting that it was written by members of Shit-Storm didn't help - self-promotion is a big no-no here.)
Hm. I'm not sure what the best way for you to work with Wikipedia is. The problem is, Wikipedia is aimed at documenting things that are already "notable," not promoting things that could become notable. Have you taken a look at WP:MUSIC? They have a set of guidelines for judging whether a band/artist should get its own Wikipedia article. I wonder if some of their ideas might be translatable into your context.
The conservative thing to do would be to contribute to the Improvisational comedy article, spinning off sections into their own articles when they get large. Another approach would be to create a WikiProject like WP:MUSIC for improv comedy. I don't know much about improv comedy, so I don't have a feel for what would be good articles. Starting a WikiProject could attract experienced Wikipedians who also have some familiarity with improv.
Hope this helps you get started! I really appreciate your interest in expanding Wikipedia's coverage and learning about how Wikipedia works. Thanks, FreplySpang (talk) 19:12, August 28, 2005 (UTC)
