Howdy

Hi! I saw your additions to the article on Christianity, and I wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia. As you noted in your comments on that page, the Wikipedia is to be written from a secular perspective. As is noted in the offical policy on neutrality, this is a somewhat difficult notion since most people (even conservative Christians like me) don't believe in neutrality any more. Nonetheless, it's what we strive for; we try to leave the most obvious value judgements at the door. It doesn't always work out perfectly, but that's the goal. I've worked with differing viewpoints to achieve what we think is a mostly neutral article on Christian subjects such as total depravity and perseverance of the saints. If that approach doesn't fit you, there are several other Wikis I could recommend that operate from an explicitly Christian viewpoint.

Anyway, I hope you stick around and help the Wikipedia become a better place! If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to drop me a note on my talk page. You can also respond here, and I'll see it. Cheers! --Flex 19:36, August 19, 2005 (UTC)
