Aspartame
Hi, Aragorn2: I'm very very interested in your post on the Atkins talk page about Aspartame. I wondered if there is any info on the net supporting your assertions? I googled but I mustn't have been looking for the right things because I couldn't wade through the results to find anything. Thanks in advance. --Anchoress 21:24, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Complicated proof?
- (in irrational number)
Isn't the first proof for the irrationality of overly complicated? It basically states that when you transform to , the multiplicity of prime factor 2 is even on the left side, and odd on the right side -> contradiction.

Aragorn, you're assuming that a number has only one prime factorization. But that's much harder to prove than the special case that says the product of two odd numbers is odd, which is all that this proof needs. Michael Hardy 21:57, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
Sanick Dela Cruz (Frank Wuterich)
Hi, just wanted to ask why you think Sanick Dela Cruz's first language is not English. I am pretty sure he speaks it well enough to not require translations, unless that is a legal defense mechanism.

- Hello. I got this idea from an Associated Press article that was run on many news sites, e.g. forbes.com.
- "At that time my emotion take over, we lost T.J. (Terrazas) and two other Marines were injured," said Dela Cruz, not a native English speaker.
- However, that suggests that the testimony was in English, so that basically rules out the translation explanation. Maybe some of the citations are inaccurate or paraphrased. The above-mentioned article says "just standing around" e.g., but this article says "just standing, looking around" which is not entirely the same thing. Aragorn2 18:01, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 15
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Black hole (networking), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages ICMP and Router (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
