Two days ago, coming home from work on a rather long drive, it occurred to me--you don't happen to be an Orson Scott Card fan, do you? --KQ
- I've enjoyed many of his works. Ender's Game, and the Alvin Maker series, in particular. Speaker for the Dead didn't really work for me, but I couldn't really explain why. I didn't read the rest of the series, though I thought I had Xenocide somewhere.
- The Alvin series always amused me, because the early books took place near where I grew up.
- My favorite author of all time is Vernor Vinge, though. --ansible
Huh. More stuff to add to my ever-expanding list of books to read. :-) Someday I'll catch up with all of it. --KQ
