Hello, my name is Neil.

Before I created the Williamnilly account, I dabbled with Wikipedia under the address [67.184.189.240]

Featured Articles

  • The Office (US TV series) - I LOVE THIS SHOW!! And I wanted to make sure it got the attention it deserved on Wikipedia, so much of what has made it a featured article was done through much of details that I managed to find/add/organize (with editing help from the usual watchers of the article as well) and I'm very proud of what it became. Unfortunately, over two years, it became a less-than-stellar article and was removed from FA status before it was ever featured on the main page. Maybe one day it will return to FA status, but until then, I'm proud of the start I made.

What I tend to do

I focus on comedians and entertainers on Wikipedia. I do a lot of launching of comedy album articles. I love citing sources (you should too) and seek to make Wikipedia a good standard for encyclopedic knowledge on EVERYTHING and ANYTHING.

Unofficial WikiProjects I Undertook

  • I created many of the individual Frank Sinatra album articles I launched. The man has had an amazing music career unmatched by any other performer in American history and I felt his music library should be acknowledged. It was a learning experience for myself, too. Unfortunately, like most projects I do, I got most of them done and just quit once I got to the box set collections, etc...
  • In the middle of the second season of the The Office, I started to write the individual episode articles because I could tell that it was going to become a long-term show. I LOVE THIS SHOW!
  • I also painstakingly linked all of the Monty Python albums together and made most of their album pages look pretty.
  • I renamed/moved many of the episode articles per Wikipedia:Wikiproject_Television_episodes#Naming and Wikipedia:Naming conventions (television). Yay for following conventions!
