François Parmentier's page

Let's talk about me, since it seems to be my page. My name is François Parmentier (maybe you found it out?). My nickname on IRC is H_I.

My web page talks about me (studies, resume, ...), but also about my family, and about my hobbies: Artificial Intelligence and chatterbots.

I wrote a chatterbot for IRC: Achille, which was based on a simple stimulus/response system, and was written with C. I program another one (with PHP/MySQL) on my web site. It's named ECTOR. One can speak with it here, but, as it is still a "baby bot", one can't await miracles. As a prototype, it is not yet optimized, but this will come (sooner or later).

Oh yes: I also wrote (and pass) a PhD on the use of a generic AI architecture to automatically recognize bibliographic references fields. You can have a look (in French). But if you can't read French, go to Everything, and go to the BAsCET article, I began to translate some parts...
