Hi. I'm Juanma Barranquero, a Spanish computer programmer and translator. I was born in 1964 in Bilbao, and since then I've lived in Tarragona, Madrid and São Paulo before settling at my current destination, Barcelona.
My hobbies cover a wide range of things, from ancient history to linguistics to card magic, to cite a few, but my main area of interest is literary Science Fiction, and the space opera and cyberpunk subgenres in particular. In fact, I had the honor (and pleasure) of translating Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash to Spanish.
