My rules of life

1. If something sucks, fix it.
   • Don't just whine about it.
2. Small is beautiful.
   • Ockham's Razor follows.
3. Be positive, not negative.
   • Because life is not a zero-sum game.
4. Anything worth doing is worth doing right.
   • But, the perfect is the enemy of the good
5. Don't take any guff.
   • Letting people treat you poorly only encourages them to do the same to others.
6. Never whistle while you're pissing.
   • Do only as much as you can focus on.
7. Shut your pie hole.
   • Like the proverb says, it's "better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt."
8. Actions speak louder than words.
   • Inaction speaks just as loudly.
9. Be humble.
   • Don't impose your beliefs on others, yours are no better than theirs.
10. The ends do not justify the means.
    • Immoral actions can not become moral by producing a "greater good".
