I don't know why the email button wasn't active for you last night either. But it was missing. Perhaps it doesn't show in your special rants archieve page, but I thouht I'd checked the User or Talk Page as well.

On this:

re: your first rant on my Talk page: Perhaps you didn't see my reply on my Talk page—what I did was drastically edited it and added this: "The rest of the non-concise, tedious, rambling, typographically idiosyncratic rant and vote spam has been deleted and ignored. For anyone interested, they can look at the page history." That message probably did a very good job of convincing many Wikipedians to ignore any additional messages from you.

Kind of kicking a newby, aren't you? But it didn't, so far as I can see. I didn't recall you as one of my 'Disinterested Parties' that night, but do know I've seen you active on Vfd, so must have tumbled on your signature on other talk pages when I posted that plea.

On A Personal Basis, I think your action toward my note asking for help should disqualify you as an Admin. It's your conscience. But a whole lot of you seem to shrug and decide that such must be tolerated. Your personal comments in your 'Rants' page state bluntly that you agree that the problem is wide and deep, albeit complicated by the ineffective leadership from Jimbo, ArbCom, et al.

So why don't you Admins form up some 'teams of seven to nine' and swarm some of these things as mediators— since the Mediation Committee is all but defunct — the role I was attempting with some good effect. At the least, one Admin like Mel Etitis wouldn't be a lone voice of reason and experience in facing down such juveniles, whether or not a well intentioned JMBell or myself lends a hand or not, A group of you monitoring a war should impose some Flame Retardant by merely agreeing with each other.

I've put in 700+ edits in the last month, and whether you want to be some kind of snob as your reaction to my first post would indicate, or to have some basis for self-respect by at least listening, is of course entirely up to you. My prose might not be the best, nor my organization (You try some ADD genes), but at least I know I'm acting responsibly towards an bad situation.
