Graduated from the Department of Languages at Akureyri Junior College in 1999.

Graduated with a BA degree in English from the University of Iceland in 2002.

Graduated with a MA degree in Language Technology from the University of Iceland in 2004.

Lives in Ghent, Belgium since January 2007.
