CheckUser evidence has shown that 172 is the same person as Template:No ping (talk · contribs · block log), who has been banned since 2006. Despite numerous attempts to contact 172, no alternate explanation has come forth as to why checkuser would produce this result. As a result, 172 (along with 7 other accounts) were blocked indefinitely for operating multiple accounts in evasion of a community-placed ban.
