Turkey Creek is a village in Evangeline Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 441 at the 2010 census,[1] up from 356 in 2000.
Geography
Turkey Creek is located in northern Evangeline Parish. U.S. Route 167 passes through the village, leading southeast Script error: No such module "convert". to Ville Platte, the parish seat, and north Script error: No such module "convert". to Interstate 49. Louisiana Highway 13 intersects US 167 in the center of Turkey Creek and leads south Script error: No such module "convert". to Pine Prairie.

As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 356 people, 125 households, and 98 families residing in the village. The population density was Script error: No such module "convert".. The racial makeup of the village was 95.51% White, 1.40% African American, 1.40% Native American, 0.28% Asian, and 1.40% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.28% of the population.
There were 125 households, out of which 45.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 69.6% were married couples living together, 7.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 20.8% were non-families. 18.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.85 and the average family size was 3.26.
In the village, the population was spread out, with 32.9% under the age of 18, 9.6% from 18 to 24, 25.8% from 25 to 44, 19.1% from 45 to 64, and 12.6% who were 65 years of age or older.
