sub-region populations

hi - i think it would be pretty useful to have a subregion (& corresponding population etc.) parameter, or some kind of smoother way to convey that information. for e.g. Lezgins, we have a Russia-wide population count, as well as a Dagestan-specific population, and it's manually using bullet points, which is pretty clumsy and unwieldy - i've seen this on quite a few ethnic group articles, especially groups in Russia & other large diverse countries. any thoughts on a better way to do this? ... sawyer * he/they * talk 01:29, 22 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Using this template at European emigration

I've started a discussion about whether or not this template is appropriate for the European emigration article. That discussion is here: Talk:European emigration#Use of Template:Infobox ethnic group. Thanks. Grayfell (talk) 03:11, 5 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

I don't see any excess whitespace. You are welcome to demonstrate your proposed edit in the sandbox, which I have synced with the live template. – Jonesey95 (talk) 20:24, 20 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
