Template:Edit template-protected Description of suggested change: I request that the formatting of native_name be updated from bold to roman and the use of Template:Tl be made obsolete here. I have yet to see a page that does not use that template inside it.

First of all, would you mind clarify what you mean "to roman"? Could you please implement this change in the sandbox?

Here are examples of usages of the template without Template:Tl, that I found using an insource search:

• Jim Thorpe – no template at all, but additional formatting is present due to parameter Template:Para
• Chiang Kai-shek – uses a different template, Template:Tl
• Joseph Stalin – uses Template:Tl

Template Template:Tl is used more than on a quarter million pages. This change will need a wider consensus. I recommend notifying WikiProject Politics, WikiProject Infoboxes, and WikiProject Biography of this discussion. —⁠andrybak (talk) 12:33, 27 April 2025 (UTC)

Caption not displaying

Another editor fixed it for you by removing a duplicate, and empty, Template:Para parameter. That's a tricky one. – Jonesey95 (talk) 14:09, 29 April 2025 (UTC)

This talk page is a good place to start. This template is used on 251,000 pages. How many pages would Template:Para be used on? Can you provide ten examples? If not, you probably won't get support. In the meantime, you can use Template:Para to embed a different infobox that supports Template:Para if you have an article that contains sourced information about the disappearance of an officeholder. – Jonesey95 (talk) 03:14, 2 May 2025 (UTC)

Template:Edit template-protected A "chiefminister" field should be added as there is many chief ministers such as Chief Minister of the Isle of Man, Chief Minister of Jersey, Chief Minister of Guernsey. Description of suggested change:

The formatting of native names in this infobox is inconsistent with that of other biographical infoboxes (e.g. infobox person) -- as far as I can see, only officeholder bolds them; they are usually in regular type.
