Usage

This template displays the current date and time, in a format similar to that used in the block log.

It's in the name

The name of the template is datetime, yet the output it produces is time, then date. Would'nt have timedate been more logical? --Turbinator 21:59, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

Replace contents

To improve efficiency and so it uses less template, I replaced the current contents with 21:05, 04 May 2026 (UTC). There is no difference in the functionality of the template.
