Usage

The Template:Tl project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax is as follows:

Parameters

Categorization parameters

• topic - sets the topic of the article for categorization under the project, e.g. |topic=art
  • art - use when the article is related to Greek art – populates Template:Cl
  • cult or culture - use when the article is related to the culture of Greece – populates Template:Cl
  • econ or economy - use when the article is related to the Greek economy, companies, commerce, trade etc. – populates Template:Cl
  • edu or education - use when the article is related to education in Greece – populates Template:Cl
  • food - use when the article is related to Greek cuisine: food, wine, spirits, etc. – populates Template:Cl
  • geo or geography - use when the article is related to Greek geography – populates Template:Cl
  • hist or history - use when the article is related to Greek history at any period of Greece – populates Template:Cl
  • lang or language - use when the article is related to the Greek language – populates Template:Cl
  • mil or military - use when the article is related to the military of Greece – populates Template:Cl
  • pol or politics - use when the article is related to Greek politics – populates Template:Cl
  • religion - use when the article is related to religion in Greece – populates Template:Cl
  • sport or sports - use when the article is related to sports in Greece – populates Template:Cl
  • trans or transport - use when the article is related to transport in Greece, shipping, etc. – populates Template:Cl
  • people or bio - use when the article is related to Greek people: for biographical, demographics, etc. articles – populates Template:Cl
  • law - use when the article is related to the law in Greece: legal, law enforcement, judicial, etc. articles – populates Template:Cl

  Omitting the parameter, or using any other value, populates Template:Cl.

Notes

To avoid needlessly cluttering up talk pages, it is usually appropriate to remove any unused parameters from the template. A common initial configuration for the banner includes only the |class= parameter:
