Usage

For each of team, there are 5 variations of the template. Using the New South Wales Blues team as a demonstration, the options are as follows:

• {{Cr-Aus|NSW-h|L}} → Template:Cr-IPL/home Template:Cr-Aus/flag

New South Wales is the team batting first and the home team. To be used in the team1 field.

• {{Cr-Aus|NSW|L}} → Template:Cr-Aus/flag

New South Wales is the team batting first and the away team. To be used in the team1 field.

• {{Cr-Aus|NSW-h|R}} → Template:Cr-Aus/flag Template:Cr-IPL/home

New South Wales is the team batting second and the home team. To be used in the team2 field.

• {{Cr-Aus|NSW|R}} → Template:Cr-Aus/flag

New South Wales is the team batting second and the away team). To be used in the team2 field.

• {{Cr-Aus|NSW}} → Template:Cr-Aus/flag

To be used in the result field, if New South Wales wins the match.

Things to note

• The templates are designed to be used so that, as is the case with the format for international matches, the first team listed in a score summary will be the team which bats first.
• These domestic team templates, unlike the National team templates, will indicate with Template:Cr-IPL/home which team is the home team. This is entirely appropriate (except in certain circumstances like if a tournament is held all at one ground) because, unlike International matches, domestic competitions are usually held on a "home and away" basis, where each team will play every other team both home and away (see for example Pura Cup season 2007–08). By contrast, most International tournaments and series are played entirely in one country (see for example 2007–08 Commonwealth Bank Series).
• If the team needs a flag displayed, then a Template:Tlx template will need to be created with a name matching the alias created in the template code.
