Latin words for turning

There seems to have been a bit of edit-warring over use of the word revolve. In astronomical contexts, I have seen revolve distinguished from rotate: most planets' rotations are much more rapid than their revolutions. —Tamfang (talk) 06:03, 12 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
