Yamaha Car Hifi

At least during the 1980s till the 2000s, Yamaha had also featured a car hifi range including headunits, amplifiers and Digital Sound Processors. Unfortunately I had thrown away all reference material in the 2010s when I gave up sound installations and sold my small stock of Yamaha car audio, but especially the DSP (DSP-01?) might be worth its own article. 89.183.230.23 (talk) 18:25, 15 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Russian invasion

Is it really necessary to state that Yamaha works in Russia in the initial paragraph? Ilya-42 (talk) 08:41, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

I think it gives that aspect undue emphasis. And the IP editor inserted an inline link (such links are deprecated) pointing to an activist webpage rather than a WP:SECONDARY report. So the insertion looks like activism intended to pressure Yamaha, which is not what Wikipedia is for. Binksternet (talk) 12:54, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Pronunciation

Who says "YAM-uh-ha", the supposed English pronunciation given in the lede? 2603:400A:0:7EC:0:0:801E:1C14 (talk) 17:38, 12 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
