small correction in 5600 series

in the process of doing some research on cpu upgrades, i found a thread discussing the X5679, it's a special CPU made on contract for HP for Z800 workstations, and has a deliberately lowered memory bus to save costs. which is strange because every other hex-core xeon in that generation has a 1333 memory bus. lenovo staff talking about it here - http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkStation/Xeon-x5679/td-p/627741/page/2

Etymology of Xeon

Anybody have any information related to the etymology of the brand name/construction of the brand? I feel that would be relevant to go over in the overview section? Titfortat-skag (talk) 21:33, 2 April 2021 (UTC) - titfortatReply

E5-2600 & D-1500 Missing for Broadwell.

The E5-2600 and D-1500 Broadwell product lines are missing, but they were much more significant than the very small E3 Broadwell release for the 1150 socket; I'm almost certain that the E3 Broadwell release only went to systems integrators. Beeslouise (talk) 03:26, 9 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
