Move to Writing instrument

This page should be moved to Writing instrument according to Wikipedia:Naming conventions (plurals). —PrologFan {Talk} 22:13, 19 July 2005 (UTC)

• Support move to singular, but note that Writing implement should also be factored in, as they both seem to refer to the same thing, and Writing implement is presently bigger. That said, "Writing instrument" seems to get many more hits, so is probably where all this should live. Niteowlneils 01:42, 20 July 2005 (UTC)

The singular redirects back to this page: if adopted the Wikipedia encyclopedia page should be changed (until this page can be removed from it) Jackiespeel 18:38, 21 July 2005 (UTC).

Probably best to redirect both writing instruments and instrument to writing implements and develop that page outwards - too complicated to try and create a division. Jackiespeel 22 July 2005
