45 to 50 years ago I spent the best summers of my life in Woodridge, New York. We had relatives, Rose and Jake Brooks, who ran a chicken farm there off of Glen Wild road. At the time there were hotels on the road including The Glory, Shine's, and the Alamac. We stayed at Shine's.
