One point regarding accuracy in this article, easily confirmed: Admiral Pye did not dispatch the SARATOGA relief group to Wake Island. He did not assume command in Pearl Harbor until 17 December, 1941, relieving Admiral Kimmel. Admiral Kimmel sent the relief group, which sailed from Pearl on 15 December. Admiral Pye, a very cautious officer, recalled the group after Washington advised him to conserve his forces, and then said the decision was his alone.

This article and image is from the [Historical Center home page], which puts it into public domain. I probably didn't put this guy into the right category (naval officiers), so somebody might want to do it. Also, more importantly, somebody interested in navy might want to drain from the rich resources of Naval Historical Center and put it all here :).
