Wenger is not only a Brand. Wenger is also a Family Name. In Switzerland this Name is very popular. There exists Wenger from Röthenbach i.E. Does any body else know about the Family Wenger?
People with the surname Wenger also come from the town of Wegrow in Poland. It is a Jewish name, and is most likely uncommon in Poland since WWII. Some surviving Wenger family members emigrated to the United States.
It's confusing the way the Early History is written: it implies that Wenger sold knives to the swiss military before Victorinox. The Victorinox article contradicts that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Philippz (talk • contribs) 06:22, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
