Template:Edit semi-protected Under "deceased" wack pack members, you list Irene DeCook (The Leather Weather Lady). She is my aunt. She is very much alive. 73.190.20.21 (talk) 03:47, 11 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Template:Edit semi-protected My name is Irene DeCook (Leatherweather Lady). I was notified that I am listed as dead on this site. What proof do you require of me? Leatherweather (talk) 21:55, 12 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

File:Red information icon with gradient background.svg Not done: Template:Ping Please provide a reliable source to support that Irene the Leather Weather Lady (Irene De Cook) is a current Wack Pack member. Irene DeCook "The Leather Weather Lady" is my mother and she's not dead.

I, and the rest of my family, are very upset that Irene DeCook is listed as dead, she's upset about it herself and even tried to send an edit request which was ignored. She's on facebook if that helps, as well as the rest of our family.

https://www.facebook.com/irene.decook https://www.facebook.com/darlacet (daughter) https://www.facebook.com/julia.decook (niece) https://www.facebook.com/willie.decook (brother) And there's more.

I've contacted wikipedia about this fallacy as well. Please fix this asap.

I have removed the entry from the list. Please see my reply at the Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard. De728631 (talk) 16:31, 9 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Template:Edit semi-protected Please delete Joey Boots from the Deceased Wack Packers list because he is already included in the "Not Wack Pack Material" list, which explicitly states that those on the list are "excluded by Stern and his staff from the Wack Pack." Sptm1983 (talk) 04:04, 10 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

I oppose this. The "Deceased" section includes a number of reliable references where Joey Boots is identified as Wack Packer by the media. I think it's good practice to credit those unofficial persons as well while the "official" list only contains the ones selected by Stern and staff. De728631 (talk) 17:14, 10 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

There are two different Bigfoots

I don't get why that is so hard to understand. Matthew McGrory was the original Bigfoot, he died in 2005, and Mark Shaw is the current Bigfoot. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.241.193.141 (talk) 00:04, 14 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Template:Edit semi-protected Under the "Not whack pack material" section please change Bobo (Steve from Florida, Steve Bowie) to Bobo (Steve from Florida, Steve Bowe)

He has mentioned numerous times on the show his last name is spelled Bowe, despite it being pronounced "Bowie"

Here is an article straight from Howard Stern's website describing the exact change I'd like to make. [3]

Template:Edit semi-protected Change "Steve Bowie" to "Steve Bowe," the correct spelling. While it is spelled without the letter I, Steve indeed pronounces it "Bowie." See this:

Howard said that he is a wack packer on air, and that his name could not be changed even though Sean doesn't like it, because "None of the Wack Packers like their names".

https://www.howardstern.com/show/2019/5/15/audio-high-register-sean-teaches-howard-about-dog-men-and-dangers-they-pose/ "AUDIO: High Register Sean Teaches Howard About ‘Dog Men’ and the Dangers They Pose “They are nefarious creatures … they don’t have souls,” the Wack Packer claims" Not sure why people who don't even listen to the show are in charge of this.

Hershel Walker’s addition to the Wack Pack. On November 9th 2022 Howard stated “well now he is” when asked about how Hershel walker wasn’t a Wack Packer. 70.50.80.213 (talk) 05:45, 19 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

If Stern defines wack packers by their inability to tell why they are funny, then why is Sour Shoes on the list? If he does impressions and writes song parodies, I'm pretty sure he knows why he's funny because that's his goal.

There's no source for that definition. I propose removing it. Kire1975 (talk) 13:23, 28 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
