Channel swap

Both WBME-TV (49) and WMLW-CA (41) swapped channel positions on Tuesday August 9. As of now, the call sign change has yet to show on the FCC's web site. The on-screen guide, and some of the automated online programming guides, show the stations as WBME-CD (41) and WMLW-DT (49). But my personal rule (and I'm sure what Wikipedia prefers) is not to redirect the pages or insert the new call sign until it shows up on the FCC's website, for official verification purposes. Until then, the pages in this regard should stay as-is. --Fightingirish (talk) 11:00, 9 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

What is this?

Is WBME-CD a television station? GhostInTheMachine (talk) 22:46, 12 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Short description

Nobody knows what a "Class A" is. Stay with simple, plain descriptions like "television station". See WP:SDNOTDEFGhostInTheMachine talk to me 18:19, 23 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Other articles being incorrect is not an argument for making this one incorrect — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 18:55, 23 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Again — "Class A" is meaningless for a Short description. Even if unnecessary, "Low-power" at least is understandable. Fixing all 91 articles will not take long — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 09:14, 14 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Mvcg66b3r GhostInTheMachine is right. It's too much jargon at the top for a short description. Sammi Brie (she/her · t · c) 17:11, 14 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
