Um, the ignorant American would like a translation of the "review" sentence into English, please. Soundguy99 04:06, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)

My boyfriend dumped me?

"Mon ami me délaisse" is roughly translated as "My boyfriend dumped me"

As a rough translation, I got "My friend forsakes me." It might not be quite grammatically correct, but I certainly think it's more accurate than the first. Being "dumped" is a rather modern term, and seeing that this song is from the 18th century, it doesn't really fit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.226.218.73 (talk) 23:42, 30 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
