Which year this vin number formed 105.245.171.220 (talk) 20:14, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

WFO is for Ford Europe. European VINs do not contain the model year (it's an American thing), so the VIN does not tell us the year of manufacture. From the model and generation you may get a date range.  Stepho  talk  22:55, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

WMI in separate article

Dairokkan9 has suggested to split out the massively long WMI list to a new article List of common world manufacturer identifiers. I agree. The list is so long that it makes the rest of the article hard to look through.

Although I would put "vehicle" in the new article name and shorten it - eg Vehicle world manufacturer identifiers.  Stepho  talk  11:37, 25 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
