About Resolution 38/7
Would it be worth mentioning that most of the votes against Resolution 38/7 were from Caribbean island nations, or maybe providing a list of the "no" votes? Bearing in mind that a map wouldn't be super useful since island states are hard to see. Voting record can be found here.
Also, the International reaction section describes criticism by Commonwealth states, but a large amount (maybe more than half: I haven't counted) of the "no" votes or abstentions were from Commonwealth states. I'm not sure that the current description of the Commonwealth reaction gives a full picture. Thoughts on this? Placeholderer (talk) 22:10, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
False information
This history of the invasion is incorrect. 206.171.115.131 (talk) 15:07, 6 September 2024 (UTC)
False Photo Title
The photo entitled "Rangers conducting the air assault on Point Salines" is incorrect. This is a photo of a training jump on Sicily Drop Zone at Fort Liberty (Fort Bragg).
I am not going to remove it because it is always reposted. Just be aware, it isn't a photo of Rangers in Grenada. RobSmith1963 (talk) 22:14, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
jumper elements are wrong
2/75 at Ft Lewis was the alert battalion at the time of the callout. 1/75 was on block leave. 2/75 called everyone in and flew down to Hunter Army. 1/75 called everyone back that they could find but many could not get back before the op order, flight and drop. Elements of both 1/75 and 2/75 dropped onto Salines, generally speaking 1/75 was a mix of from e-2 to officers as many had not returned and 1/75 wanted to put people on the ground. 2/75 was full strength, so 'Falcon Force' generally tabbed out E-4+ were the jumpers. In reality many tabbed E-4 and even E-5 were left behind. It is wrong that only 1/75 A and B dropped in. Groundballswin (talk) 12:40, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
- oh yea. Ranger Regiment did not exist at the time of this operation. It was 1/75 and 2/75. 3/75 had yet to be formed and no hindquaters either. SOCOMic was formed after this. Groundballswin (talk) 13:05, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
