Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on USS Fort Snelling (LSD-30). Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add Template:Tlx after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add Template:Tlx to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

In November 1983 Fort Snelling collided with the merchant vessel "Diana D" between Cyprus and Lebanon. Fort Snelling was not refueling from Sylvania but rather was transfering cargo by rigs fore and aft. This happened around 0300. All five crew members from Diana D were rescued. There was never any indication of terrorism. The collision did not lead to Fort Snelling's decommissioning. That was already scheduled. The investigation concluded Diana D had violated the Rules of the Road by not maneuvering to avoid Sylvania/Fort Snelling.
