Agh, most of this page is just a bunch of over-wrought definitions. I am going to delete some of them. - Centrx 01:41, 25 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Use as an insult?

I've heard this used as an insult in quite a few conversations and also popular culture, and Merriam-Webster.com lists its second definition as "a person characterized by reclusive habits or outmoded or reactionary attitudes." Perhaps this merits discussion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:582:C502:CBA7:9586:5BC9:1D8B:4343 (talk) 03:06, 5 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

I would suggest that belongs on Wiktionary. Dunutubble (talk) 18:56, 23 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Not to be confused with

I would like to propose moving the "Not to be confused with" Troglobite and Trilobite to the top of the page to more quickly assist in redirecting a visitor. @User:Bkonrad or others, do you have an objection to this? Dag330 (talk) 23:44, 24 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Yes, it's standard on disambiguation pages to place homophones and similarly spelled terms in see also. The distinguish template is meant for use on articles, not disambiguation pages. olderwiser 23:51, 24 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the explanation. Cheers! Dag330 (talk) 00:15, 25 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Script error: No such module "protected edit request". The movie Trog needs to be added to the "other media" section. Descriptor should read: "Trog https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trog 1970 movie marking Joan Crawford's last appearance on film." Themblues (talk) 15:50, 4 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

At the bottom there is "See also Trog (disambiguation)". —Tamfang (talk) 20:08, 4 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
