Rewrote the intro
Someone requested a rewriting of the intro chapter. So I did. Maybe even added a web link, but at the same time, I'm poor with real references, and opinionated in a way. Not quite in the POV-way, I think, but I *do* have a viewpoint on everything.
I'd hope someone else would check out my work on the intro. Because it really is a total rework.
Please don't revert it even if its subpar. Develop the ideas further. Because it's a total drag to have your work drown into the bin, after hours and hours of editing. Over and over again. :/ Decoy (talk) 17:07, 5 September 2021 (UTC)

Conventional Classifications - UK
UK section needs a re-write and is quite out of date with the quoted system being replaced twice since the date of the references used - National Ambulance Service Medical Directors (NASMeD) Sieve was established nationwide in 2013 and now the NHS Major Incident Triage Tool is to replace that in 2023 (see Vassallo et al, 2022 and the Manchester Arena Inquiry Volume 2) .
I also have question the need for the comment "In the UK and Europe, the triage process used is sometimes similar to that of the United States (see below)". A lot of systems globally, not just Europe/US are similar due to improved global cooperation on disaster management/disaster medicine - however, each system often has mechanical/technical differences in them that distinguish them. Might be a good idea to change the wording of them or just remove the comment altogether?
I'll attempt a rewrite at some point in the near future but feel free to re-write if you have the time. CubeOfLettuce (talk) 00:47, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
