Definition

Wouldnt a stricter definition of tool be more helpful? Colloquially it would seem to be "something that is necessary or aids in the performance of an operation," like an instrument. That's what I get from wiktionary:tool anyway. "Means to an end" could include a lot of other things.Savonneux (talk) 05:05, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
