GA concerns
I am concerned that this article no longer meets the good article criteria. Some of my concerns are outlined below:
- The article has uncited text, including an entire paragraph.
- The lead is quite long: is all of this information necessary and in the article body, or can some of it be summarised more effectively?

Athlete?

Change:

Should be change to: "Earl was born to African-American parents and was also said to be of European and Native American descent."

- File:X mark.svg Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the Template:Tlx template. Sources indicate him as the greatest, not just that he is the greatest amongst the male golfers, so I don't think the qualifier would be justified. But feel free to open a discussion here first, and if consensus agrees with you, the change can then be implemented. meamemg (talk) 13:58, 20 May 2025 (UTC)
