Images

Seems we have an abundance of good images in the article. I have removed the recently added 3-D image gallery as 3-d pics of a couple of polished pebbles really don't add to the article. If we need 3-d images, it should be of something with dimensional interest. To see the 3D you need to cross your eyes till you see 3 images, and than you need to focus on the middle image. great articles btw. Links to more images?

There are a few nice Tiger's Eye images on the Chatoyancy page; maybe not a good idea to just add them in here (too many images), but should there be links to them? I'm not finding any pages that say "for more images, see whatever" ... or is there a way to make a link to show all relevant images? — Mwr0 (talk) 20:14, 16 August 2012 (UTC)

Infobox

We need more info about Tiger's eye in the Infobox. If anyone has more info about tiger's eye that could be added to the Infobox, please add it to the Infobox.Punk4orchrist (talk) 14:30, 14 January 2015 (UTC)

When it comes to gemstones, silicon-dioxide or quartz seems to be the main component people here point to, but what discerns specific gemstones from quartz alone is the fact that they contain other elements.

Within spiritual movements people will be likely to argue, when they see this, that quartz is a natural amplifier and when it's mixed with specific minerals, those minerals tune it to specific frequency ranges corresponding to those very same elements. This would then correspond to natural body processes and processes in nature that use these elements.

That, and scientific accuracy, would demand for all of the minerals encapsulated in quartz to be listed, so we know what discerns it from other gemstones. I'm guessing in case of tiger's eye it's something like iron and iron-oxides, both the non-hydrated version and rust, which would explain its black and brown colors. In terms of spiritual energy cycles that would relate to your bloodstream and as such entirety as an actual being.
