Who was the first who used the term thrash metal?
It's not easy to answer it, but definitely it was NOT Malcolm Dome. The term thrash metal appears at the 1st issue of Metal Forces (autumn 1983) from Billy Beaman on a review of the compilation ‘’La’s hottest unsigned rock bands’’ while mentioning the compilations Metal Massacre και US Metal. Also it appears at Metal Mania magazine, issue 13 from 1983 too. Everything about the metal sub-genres terms during the 80s, can be found on my article published on the site metalzone.gr yesterday. The article is on my mother language (Greek) but with Google translate and a little patience, someone can understand. So please correct the info about Malcolm Dome etc. Alexandros Zoris 62.103.243.86 (talk) 11:30, 7 March 2025 (UTC)
the term thrash metal was NOT invented by Malcolm Dome
The term exists since 1983, Malcolm Dome used it at 1984. Please correct the main article. 62.103.243.86 (talk) 14:16, 10 March 2025 (UTC)
