The original film title is "The Trollenberg Terror".—Preceding unsigned comment added by Dlloyd (talkcontribs) 01:13, 13 August 2004 (UTC)Reply

TV series

Unless someone is intending to write an in-depth article on the TV series, this article should probably cover both the film and the TV version, as it did originally. It's standard on WP (rightly or wrongly) that novels and their film adaptations share a page too.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Jay-W (talkcontribs) 21:26, 7 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

Remerged film & TV series info

I've taken an older version of this article and folded in elements of the newer version of this article for the following reasons:

  1. Without an extant source for further info on the TV serial, it's extremely unlikely there will be a separate article for it. (Consider how stubby this one currently is, even though it is mostly about the better-known film that is available on VHS and DVD and has a separate MST3K version.)
  2. As long as this article is a stub, it's hard to list all the information provided without turning it into a bare list. I've tried to organize the data into a textual flow that mostly follows the following order of visibility: the film, the common actor in the 2 programs, the film's star, the common director, and the writers; except that I moved the director in front of the common actor to get the two actors nearer each other in the text.
  3. I restored the "Saturday Serial" text because I think it may inspire readers familiar with the program to scare up some more data.
  4. IMDb is the source for the alternative titles, and is already listed in "External links".

Don't confuse the two "Eye" movies

It is noteworthy that the VHS cover for The Eye Creatures (1965) re-uses artwork from the movie poster of The Crawling Eye (1958) Naaman Brown (talk) 04:49, 23 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
