Influences

Why isn't Darkwing Duck listed as being influenced by The Shadow? They practically wear the same outfit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.162.165.242 (talk) 12:58, 31 August 2009‎

Originated in Pulps or in Radio?

The intro says The Shadow originated in pulps but then says he first appeared as a host on radio. So which is it? Jccalhoun (talk) 02:08, 28 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Belmont Books a new beginning

In the second paragraph, I corrected the word "novels" (which implies a length over 40,000 words) to "novelettes" (which are frequently defined as being 7,500 to 17,500 words). This distinction is relevant, because all of the other Shadow stories are over 40,000 words. The way I verified this was to find the stories online and do a word count. Does this count as "original research"? Anybody can go to the sources and do what I did. So the final question is did I handle the references correctly?
