Cover dates

This may be too trivial to put in the article, but I will note here that currently, the date shown on the cover of each issue is a Monday, whereas it used to be Saturday. This change happened when the issue dated June 23, 1973, was followed by one dated July 2. I don't know the reason for the change. Richard K. Carson (talk) 23:16, 26 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Fact Checking Quote

Under the Fact Checking section, the line:

>In 2019, the Columbia Journalism Review said that "no publication has been more consistently identified with its rigorous fact-checking".

seems to imply that this is some kind of ranking awarded in 2019. The context of the cited article however reflects the reputation of the New Yorker over it's entire lifetime. Perhaps this could be reworded to better reflect the statement in the original article. 24.148.35.9 (talk) 22:45, 8 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Books About The New Yorker

The list of books about the New Yorker seems to stop around 2015. Books like disquiet please, several anthologies such as the 40s the 50s and the 60s are all missing. 2600:1700:ADE0:1B10:2CC7:AACB:1A03:F5A8 (talk) 23:46, 25 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Way too opinionated

This quote does not sound like something that should be on Wikipedia, regardless of how true it may or may not be:

"The New Yorker's fact checking operation is legendary,[tone] intensive, and perhaps the most respected in publishing.[5]" 72.76.72.238 (talk) 05:13, 6 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
