Marilyn-homage to the victim in horror films?
With the other main characters being direct analogs to movie monsters, I always thought Marilyn wasn't just the "normal" member of the family, but was a direct reference to the typical victim in 50s horror and sci-fi films-a beautiful young woman, often blonde but not always. And of course, her name and blonde looks are a reference to Marilyn Monroe, too.TheBaron0530 (talk) TheBaron0530 (talk) 13:12, 19 October 2023 (UTC)
- Ha, totally.
- I will agree with you. I never noticed nor thought that before, myself, but you can certainly make the case for it. ProofCreature (talk) 16:58, 19 October 2023 (UTC)
