Whst is the source of the statement that this book "The book was designed to stand alone, but became the beginning of a five-book series, each dedicated to a different one of the Quintarian Gods". This doesn't match anything I have seen from Lois M. Bujold, nor does it seem to match the existing books. DES 29 June 2005 22:32 (UTC)

Allusions/references to actual history and geography

I found a reliable source for comparing The Curse of Chalion to actual history and geography. The current source in the article is someone's personal blog post. Amusingly, the book calls out the Wikipedia article: Template:Tq (bold in quote is mine; the current content in the article is original research. I plan to rewrite that section using this source, replacing the current ref, and removing the "unattributed enumerations". Any objections?
