Fair use rationale for Image:Taepodong1.jpg
Image:Taepodong1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

range Taepodong-1
on estimation russian and japanese military range of this rocket 2500 km. Outwardly he copy RT-1 development which remained on Ukraine. Taepodong-2 copy RT-2. Gnomsovet (talk) 23:27, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
Proposed merger
This article should be merged with Paektusan because there have been no launches of Paektusan since 1998 and the mockup of the Taepodong-1 may not have been a serious attempt to design a two-stage IRBM and was probably a mockup of the Paektusan (http://nautilus.org/napsnet/napsnet-policy-forum/napsnet-forum-16-will-north-korea-negotiate-away-its-missiles/#axzz2XZPpuOM9). As the Paektusan has been assessed as a technology demonstrator by intelligence, the Taepodong-1 may be best described as a figment of political literature. 68.4.28.33 (talk) 03:04, 29 June 2013 (UTC)Vahe Demirjian
- Yes, I agree. I'm inclined to call the merged artice Taepodong-1, as that seems most used in the lierature I've read. What do you think on the primary name? Rwendland (talk) 14:34, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
- Did the merger, after further discussion, flagged by merge templates on both articles, on Talk:Paektusan (rocket)#Merger proposal. Rwendland (talk) 11:59, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
