Unfocused explanation section
The "Explanation for any connection [to extremism]" section lacks focus. It has become a jumbled dumping ground for criticism. The statements made there largely aren't explanations for connections.
The section's introductory sentence attributes what follows to four people, but many of the 19 sources cited thereafter are not by those people or about their work. It says "by the fact that", but much of what follows is opinion. "In addition", "thus", "despite", and similar connectors are used between unrelated thoughts. In several cases direct quotations are followed by citations of multiple sources, most of which do not contain the quotation.
The section needs extensive cleanup, removal of poor quality sources, reorganization, and trimming of off-topic material. --Worldbruce (talk) 19:18, 16 May 2022 (UTC)
