Script error: No such module "protected edit request". Replace the infobox image with BAPS Robbinsville Mandir - Murti 2.jpg, its more in detail. 23.127.139.201 (talk) 02:18, 30 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

File:Red information icon with gradient background.svg Not done: Here is a link the image requested: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:BAPS_Robbinsville_Mandir_-_Murti_2.jpg. There is no description provided for it on its wikimedia page, but the page where it is used on English Wikipedia indicates it is from a location in the United States. I think the one used in the infobox is a better fit as the lead image for this page. (But, of course anyone with autoconfirmed status who disagrees with me is of course free to continue the discussion here, or WP:BOLDLY change the image themselves.) -- Pinchme123 (talk) 01:23, 6 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hello, I think the image shown should not be used due to the ambiguity or difficulty one may have locating Swaminarayan in the image. It should be cropped (if possible) and then used. The image currently depicted is not of great quality and does not heed to the traditional art styles used to depict Swaminarayan traditionally in the Indian arts. I thus believe is may be beneficial to replace it.

Lord Swaminarayan is not a manifestation of Krishna

It is believed in the Swaminarayan Sampradaya (religion) that that Lord Swaminarayan is the manifestation of the supreme God himself, and he looks exactly the way he looks in his divine abode. it is not believed that He is an incarnation of Krishna. Although Krishna is revered in our religion, we do not believe him to be the Supreme God. So can you please research and change this.

Remove Yogi Word

lord Swaminarayan Was A Yogi… But He Was Yogi Before He Done India Tour ( Nilkanth )…… & When He Reached Junagadh He Got All His Answers Of His Question & Swaminarayan Was Refereeing Krishna Bhakti… Though Swaminarayan Was Himself A God Who Took Birth. & He Gone Akshardham ( Died Peacefully ) & People Worshipping Him… Simple Was Lord Swaminarayan Is A God Now Not A Yogi 2405:201:2029:EA50:A40C:C985:D71B:C0A0 (talk) 05:46, 20 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Adding Swaminarayan's two children

Script error: No such module "protected edit request".

In the header and infobox, I want to add that Swaminarayan had two children. This is absolutely crucial for a reader to know and significant to this article that Swaminarayan

Satsangi Jeevan Volume 4 Chapter 40 Verse 21-22:

Thereafter Shri Hari Performed the adoption ceremony through the Vedic Scholars as per the injuctions of the scriptures. In the midst of auspicous tunes of musical instrument and songs, he (Swaminarayan) accepted those boys loved by all. (21)
The he made them occupy his own seat and caused them to be feliciated by all of his follwers and devotees with costly garments and ornaments. After that, with great pleasure, he worshipped them. (22)

I think it is imperitive to add as this person had formally adopted his nephews brothers through an offcial vedic ceremony. Ayodhyaprasad, the son of Swaminarayan's elder brother Rampratap, and Raghuvira, the son of his younger brother Ichcharam were authentically adopted. Please add or clarify why not.

There are additional sources from Williams and others if needed.

Please change "with a hereditary leadership of acharyas and their wives from his own extended family" to by formally adopting his nephews from his own extended family as his own children and installing them as acharyas and their wives as hereditary leaders of the Sampraday.

Also add in the infbox under personal life. Children 2 with their names Ayodhyaprasad Maharaj and Raghuvira Maharaj.
