Chemistry uses both sub and super script. E.g. H₂O₂ or Fe²⁺ --2mcm^Gespräch 21:05, 11 December 2005 (UTC)

I mentioned another possible reference to "superscript". The reverse transcriptase in question is one of the most popular enzymes used for this purpose - refs av. on request.
